ALL WALES CONVENTION ON MORE POWERS FOR THE WELSH ASSEMBLY After all this running about Wales, does it tell us anything we did not already know?

..........Like how do we win the suggested referendum, if one is held? The Convention has published all it's worthy findings in the expected report presented to the Assembly yesterday or, was it the day before? Whatever, to cut to the chase the most important recommendation is that the present sitting Assembly makes a declaration of intent to hold a referendum and that this declaration is made before the possible May 2010 British General Election. Is this likely to happen, possibly not if Welsh Labour MP's in the London Government have any say in the matter, so still very much up in the air. If a referendum is to be held the Convention suggests it is held about or at same time as Assembly elections in June 2011, this being the year that marks the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Investiture which will make 2011 possibly a very significant year in Welsh History.

If a referendum is held and lost, that is Wales rejects more powers for the Assembly and that means we might see the 'Sham Senedd' actually not become a become a 'Proper Parliament. Then it will show for sure that the English Sovereignty over our country is as strong as ever, and this could be the case if nationalists do not stop thinking and just blogging away about Independence but get up and at it. For starters put in your diary for June 2010 a date with destiny, that being with the holding of a RALI SOFRANIAETH - Save Our Sovereignty Campaign gathering in Machynlleth on or about 21 June - the day we commemorate Dydd y Senedd 1404. The purpose being to launch a real nationalist flag waving 'Wake & Arise Wales' no messing about, not a 'wishy washy' yes campaign but rather a big and loud YES CAMPAIGN, that will be in the public face to make the People of Wales decide once and for all that they want to get off their knees and take back our national Sovereignty and govern themselves and not be such wimps and let the English do it for them.

That's the choice plain and simple and the people of Wales need to be told that in no unsure manner, lets speak patriotically plain and do some straight talking. Then maybe on or about 21 June 2011 - 'Dydd y Senedd' a Rali Sofraniaeth in Machynlleth will be celebrating a victory in the referendum for the Yes Campaign. But only if Nationalists now, not next year commit to campaigning vigorously and as radical Nationalists not dodge about as meek and mild Devolution Dilettantes.
