DYDD DEWI DAY 2008: S.O.S. Campaign Participation.

.
Do not expect Mr Machiavelli Cymru to Save Our Sovereignty, you dear Patriot are going to have to do that yourselves, and you want advance the S.O.S. Campaign by listening to English Lord Dic Sion Dafydd. So, if you really got to go Dydd Dewi parading down to into Bae Caerdydd, go ahead just take plenty of Baneri Glyndwr - the flag Dic Sion Dafydd is not too keen on. He does not like Glyndwr Lions rampantly attacking but prefers the passive Lions of Llywelyn III, now of course ''officially'' belonging to Carlo - the English Pretender Prince of Wales, that's why it's got an English Crown at it's centre since 1282, did you know that? He also, if you remember, likes taking the English Queen in his arm from time to time open his ''Sham Senedd'' aka ASSEMBLY OF APPEASEMENT WITH ENGLISH IMPERIALISM, last time he did that there were no Nationalist Protests but the time before that there was a really great demonstration, see pictures below:
.

.
You will note that in preparation of placards, to not only put slogan on fron but also put initials of Campaign on back of placard, so if press photographers are behind protesters and take photos, then they take photos of use to the campaign.
.

.
However, the presense of Pro - Independence Patriots in the Dydd Dewi Day 2008 Parade is not in this instance to protest but to make appearence in support of the Parade. This is in particular because the Anti - Independence Assembly Labour Party Representatives, are now avowed and declared, by Carwyn Jones A.M. to be ''BRITISH UNIONISTS'' (more on this in my Welsh Remembrancer Blog at http://welshremembrancer.blogspot.com/ ). They are not supporting the parade because they consider it to be a Nationalist affair. Not that I am bothered one way or the other really but it's an opportunity to give them more grief by making the parade even more NATIONALIST. Whatever, you should most certainly not use the Dydd Dewi Day Parade to protest against ENGLISH LORD - Dic Sion Dafydd Ellis Thomas, that may be done else where more creativelly, behind his back perhaps whilst he speaks as I describe in previous post to this blog. Not even as a protest against him but more a Demonstration of Nationalist Support for Welsh Independence, no less and full stop!
.
I would like to point out though that sooner as later, if Nationalists are going to get serious about the S.O.S. Campaign and associated struggle for Welsh Independence thet will need to get out of Blog Closet land and the Commemorative Corners they are in. They will need to make time to SEIZE THE TIME and get on to the streets, into the Shopping Malls and otherwise around our communities in working, Protesting and Demonstrationing in persuence of this great Cymric Cause of ours, or otherwise it will fail misarably, so up and at it. Just regard the Dydd Dewi Parade as a wake up call and a practise run, YES!

.

NOTE: There is an Assembly Children/Youth 'Welsh Idol' referendum going on, right now, final 10 Idols voting and announcement will take place on Dydd Dewi at Assembly. This Initiative is in main being run through schools but can be entered into otherwise as informed on in below links. Needless to say who I am promoting for, so please spread the word in haste, call upon Kids Cymru to VOTE GLYNDWR.

DYDD DEWI 2008 SOVEREIGNTY CAMPAIGNING: Things to do in Cardiff when your bored on St David's Day.

.
The film: 'Things to do in Denver when your dead' suggested the title conclusion, of course the film as no other relation to Dydd Dewi Day 2008 in Caerdydd.
.

.
If your participating in the Dydd Dewi Parade, upon arrival at the steps of the ''Sham Senedd'' aka APPEASEMENT OF ASSEMBLY WITH ENGLISH IMPERIALISM, rather than listen to the ENGLISH LORD DIC SION DAFYDD and his DILETTANT DEVOLUTION DEFEATISM, ignore him and do something useful. Make ready Protest Placement Cards, as opposite, need not be large, about 1o x 12 at most, and tie them to the railings all along steps leading up to the building. If only 100's were tied up in such way, it would really look very effective, and of course a great piece of Agit - Prop. Be good to have everyone who goes on this parade, to make and tie one up, but this is Wales not Lithuania, so at best maybe a few dedicated patriots could make a load and busy themselves pinning such up, about a dozen each maybe. That would still be effective and better than nothing, certainly better than going all that way to participate in an exercise to make English Lord - Dic Sion Dafydd feel good. See picture below of myself with patriotic Banner, hopefully 100's will be on the parade with 'Baneri Glyndwr' to pose for pro - Independence photos on same steps on Dydd Dewi 2008.
.
.
See below, ideas for S.O.S Campaign labels and cards, you may down load and use on your blogs and web sites, freely made available just credit source and provide link to this SOFRANIAETH blog http://sofraniaeth.blogspot.com. You could also reproduce as A4 Posters or A3 Placards, such used on parades and protests will look highly effective. They could also be used as A5 handbills to give out to people in and around the Dydd Dewi Parade, with so many of you up for Welsh Independence? why not put Posters on your cars, as this creative Welsh contingent on a St Patericks day parade. Why not a Welsh Independence Float (the Dewi Day organisers can hardly ban political representation, after using nationalists to found the parade, can they?), or something like used by Anti - Windmill Protesters to great propaganda value as it travelled throught Wales to the their Demonstartion, a Welsh Independence Trailer, see photo below:

SEE BELOW MORE IDEAS FOR CAMPAIGN POSTERS, POST CARDS, LABELS OR HANDBILL, feel free to use but please at least credit source, it's not an absolute neccessity you give link, if you do not want to.

..
PS: I am giving everyone chance to think on this S.O.S. Campaign, including suggestion you all come together in Machynlleth on 21 Mehefin 'Dydd y Senedd' 2008 to discuss and debate amongst yourselves around Cofeb Glyndwr in Y Plas. Then I propose all up for an all out S.O.S. Campaign meet in Corwen on 16 Medi 'Dydd Glyndwr' 2008 to get the foundations well and truelly organised. I expect others to take over promotion by then, as I feel I have contributed all I can contribute regards this publicity material campaign I am advancing at the moment. A National organisation will then be needed to take the S.O.S. Campaign on to it's next stages, both nationally, also Internationally but in particular locally into the communities of Cymru.

SOVEREINGNTY, SEPERATISM & SECESSION.

.

17 Februry 2008, today, is the day upon which Kossovo declares it's Independence, the rights and wrongs of this I do not want to fully go into here, suffice to link you below to Web Information sources. This however is an ideal subject to bring up matter of National Soveriegnty in relation to Seperatist Struggles, and their aims of Secession from historic Nations. Otherwise, from Nation States as established from the time of the American and French Revolutions which give rise to the concept of Political Nationalism and thence the concept of the Nation State. In the American connection we have an example of colonies seeking their Independence from an Imperialist ''Mother Country''. Later, within context of American History we have example of Seperatist Secessionism on their own frontier with the ''Whiskey Rebellion'', see web. There is also example of an Independent Texas seceeding from Mexico but later seeking unity with the Unites States, whereas the Republic of Rio Grande had a failed secession. Texas eventually came to an end by reasons of their dreams of Independence becoming finnacially bankrupt, may be Kossvo in same situation will at a future time seek unity with Albania? Even the Mormans in their newly founded western homeland became involved in a, sometimes violent armed struggle to retain their Independence. It is however, the Secessionist Seperatism of the the Southern States which led to a civil war in which the South fought for it's rights to seperate from the Union, and establish the Confederate States of America but ultimatly failed to establish their own Independence.
.
In Europe since the Middle Ages, there existed for the most part a number of Monarchies and Principalities which claimed sovereignty and ruled over within their boundaries, numerous peoples speaking a verity of languages. It was Machiavelli who advised Princes wishing to rule over other lands who advised, ''Take away their Laws and Customs but leave their Languages'', he goes on to give examples of the Bretons who he say were happy under a French Monarchy, they having been left their language but robbed of much else. Revolutionary France however was to denie the linguistic rights of it's minorities, as would other post 1797 Nation States and this contributed eventually to rise of ''Cultural Nationalism'', usually on back of Romanticism and the reclaiming of lost or denied histories. Of course this may be a generalisation, as circumstances differed and Religion, also has a great part to play in the causes and motivations of Seperatist Movements, and Secessionist struggles during the 19th century down to present times. Today Kossov's Independence brings to an end the Pan Slavic dream of Unity after centuries of being conquored and Colonised by the Habsburg and Ottoman Empires, a much sought unity to be able to stand up to larger neigbours. Further, of course Kossovan Independence brings to conclusion the last European Communist Nation State of Yugoslavia, the aim of the Third Reich but not achieved until over half a century later by the E.U. ''The Fourth Reich'' maybe? The question begs to be asked, is the reality that Kossovo is an E.U.Colony.
.
The events in Kossovo today may have great reprecussions elsewhere, already Russia is stating that if it's right for Albanians of Kossovo to break away from Serbia, then do not the South Ossetians have the same right to seceed from Georgia. But what about Chechyna, Flanders and Northern Ireland et al. Ironically while Islamic Fundamentalists seek a ''World Caliphate'', whilst the non - Muslim world is well along the road to ''Balkanisation'', which is no bad thing in some cases but not all? However, in the context of what you may consider as rightfull claims to Sovereignty, what may be considered a justified Seperatist Struggle seeking to Seceed from an existing state? We for the most part would agree with Anti - Colonial Liberation Struggles, and the demands of Independence of ''Old Nations'' of Europe as of the Celtic and Baltic Peoples and of the Iberian Peninsular et al. The Flemish of Belguim would be in the right to dissolve a Union as Belguim, as they in first place where partners to such desired Union with Flanders, but that has now became undesirable. In the case of Kossovo the Serbs argue it is historically part of Serbia, a Province not a Colony nor a country. The Kossovans would argue differently and others as the E.U. would simply consider, not history or historic claims but would just be pragmatic regards the present, that speaks for itself. Kossovans today, the majority are unhappy with Serbian Rule, and as they say, have suffered Serbian Tyrrany, Oppression and Exploitation. You will be aware of the recent history of Balkan Wars and Ethnic cleansing etc, but the Serbs have for many centuries been ethnically cleansed and forced to leave Kossovan by the Albanians there. Thus to the Serbs the historical case is a justified one, and from reading that history I see that they really do have a good reason to feel aggrieved and pretty much feel really stuffed by the West and America.
.
The purpose of this post is to get you think of Sovereignty, Seperatism & Secession and research and study, then discuss and debate it amongst yourselves. To make it more personal by bringing it home, imagine that the English of Fflintshire, already I believe well over 60% of the population, rising up in a campaign for their own autonomous Assembly. The native Welsh know this would eventually lead to calls for Independence, thence English Seperatism would seek Secession and Unity with Chesire in other words England. Socio - Economically, this is almost a de facto reality right now anyway. Possibly this then becoming more of a reality if certain plans are put into effect, as this map indicates. Full information is given in a post: SAISLEBENSRAUM in THE WELSH PATRIOT Blog via http://welshpatriot.blogspot.com/ . Other than this check out the web links below which, I hope will help advance your knowledge regards matters touching on S.S &S, also help you make up your mind perhaps regards Kossovo. In this connection make special note of which countries are recognising or nor, Kossovo's Independence and come to understant why? Myself I feel kind of sad that the Pan Slav dream came to such an end, the reason why 19th Century Slav Patriots became Pan Slav Nationalists was because they knew that only as United Slavs could they become free and defend themselves from Imperial powers as the Habsburgs and Ottomans, Hitlers Germany and in our times, the European Union and America. As to why, possibly for same reasons as Hitler wanted to destroy Yugoslavia, to get at Oil in the Urals and further afield. Think on it! Afterthoughts: Kossovo has it's own flag, but did you see that anywhere during their Independence day celebrations, no! What you did see 1000's of Albanian flags, the West has done it again, gone and meddled in other peoples affairs. Of course they did this in the Middle East after WW I, and we have been left with the consequence of that, picking up the pieces. Least of all, do keep in mind that Western Governments remember well the Russians closing down Gas supplies to the Ukrain, so now do you get the picture. Meanwhile Darfur, no the European Goverments and American Government does'nt give a damn, does it. Meanwhile 80% of Bosnian youth would rather live in the west along with everyone else, why?

NATIVE WELSH LAWS RESTORED WOULD UPHOLD WELSH SOVEREIGNTY.

.
.
In Ancient Celtic Times Sovereignty was symbolised by our Celtic Goddesses, in later medieval times it rested with Kings and Princes, thence Parliaments became more the focus for popular Sovereignty. This Sovereignty rested greatly on the fact that it was Parliaments that made laws and it was these laws which made the nation a Soveriegn reality in practise, and Monarchy was reduced to mere symbolism. How Wales today figures into this scheme in present times of our Devolved status may be informed on by looking at the following:
.

The Bother about the Arch Bishop of Canterbury has really raised up a controversy which might be to the advantage of our Cymric Cause if Alanindyfed as his way, who seeks a Campaign for Restoration of our ancient Medieval Welsh Laws. Of course brought up to date, so do not worry your head about the ''Bad Bit'' as beating your wife with a stick as thick as your finger, so give Alan your support. One thing that has been brought to our attention is that both the Jewish and Muslim communities engage in their own laws in certain areas, as long as there is mutual agreement to do so observe, and stand by the judgements given. There are TV programmes that work on the same basis, all this in mind, perhaps in similar circumstances, maybe certain Native Welsh Laws could be applied? We need patriots who are very interested in such matters, and who know about laws to give this matter some serious attention and deep thought. I would suggest to Alan that he calls a Conference at Canolfan Hywel Dda to discuss such matters and possibly launch a campaign. Of course we need to consider any legislation in matters of legal interest considered at Senedd Glyndwr in Mehefin 1404, now read on the following item sent out by Alan dated Friday, 8 February 2008.
.

.
British law has come into focus recently with the remarks of a Welshman, Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury. There are many irregularities in British law which discriminate against different sections of society and an overhaul is necessary, though it is doubtful that this will happen. The laws of Hywel Dda were of great benefit to the people of Wales hundreds of years ago and did not discriminate, as they were based on traditional morality and religious values. The contemporary move into a secular British society does not take into account many of the eternal values which govern human communities, particularly now that Britain has become an increasingly multi-racial, multi-ethnic and multi-religious society, and there is certainly a need for these concerns to be addressed. This is what the Archbishop is pointing to, and why he has raised this question and brought it into the arena of public debate. The people of Wales should reflect on whether British law and justice is entirely suited to their needs and the circumstances of Wales, or whether Welsh laws, as those of Hywel Dda, modified to suit present conditions, should be applied to the nation. WELSH INDEPENDENCE CAMPAIGN: Wishful Thinking!

Placards are easy to make but patriots to carry them, that's another matter?
