DYDD SOFRANIAETH CYMRU? 28 May 1354 Owain Glyndwr's Birthday, 28 May 2008 Welsh Sovereignty Campaign/Movement Concieved?

.
Declaring 28 May as 'Dydd Sofraniaeth Cymru' is my way of not only focusing attention on the issue of Welsh Sovereignty but also the need for a 'SOFRANIAETH' - Welsh Sovereignty Campaign. Although, if sufficient Nationalists thought the way to go was as 'SOFRANIAETH' - Welsh Sovereignty Movement, then I would go along with that, as long as it was all well thought out. This is the greater purpose of my declaring 28 May as 'Dydd Sofraniaeth Cymru' to encourage discussion and debate on these Sovereignty Matters and Issues. Ultimately to seek in first place to establish a positive and practical platform and direction on and around which to launch a S.O.S. - Save Our Sovereignty Campaign. So remember on 28 Mai 2008, I hope a new ''Welsh Baby'' will be conceived, but hopefully there shall be a very short pregnancy? Hopefully, this new ''Welsh Baby'' will be born on 21 Mehefin 2008 in Machynlleth at time of commemorating and celebrating an earlier 'Welsh Independence Day'.
.
I would hope this blog will prompt much D&D, as that is essentially all I can do, my days of establishing, organising and helping to administer new campaigns or movements are over, for verity of reasons. Not least I am getting on, but can at least distribute leaflets and whatever else, that I may be capable of within any free area I have, away from my Remembrancer Research and work. Plus I am a grandfather, and thus am sharing my life with grand children, all of whom I am happy to say at this moment in time are on course to be good citizens of an Independent Wales. I am also of an ''Alternative Nationalist'' generation which I feel has reached it's ''Sell By Date'', I feel that if we are to successfully advance these Cymric Causes, then it will need younger but politically mature Nationalists, not ''Peripheral Patriots'' to make SOFRANIAETH become a successful reality. We really do need now some unfettered new Nationalist thinking, we may have need to ditch a lot of past ''Patriotic Baggage'', but lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
.
My final thoughts, for now on all this. I am influenced and impressed by the Quebec Sovereignty Movement, and so provide a number of links to information connected to the Q.S.M. If 'Sofraniaeth' in what ever form is born on 21 Mehefin in Machynlleth as suggested above, it will in an assembly of 'Sovereignists'' begin to discuss many issues and matters regards it's manifesto, organisation, administration plus of course strategy etc. However, I hope immediately plans will be discussed to organise and mass mobalise a RALI SOFRANIAETH 2008 in Corwen on 16 Medi - 'Dydd Glyndwr'. C'mon, lets go for it, or we will ever be talking about it, so let a WELSH INDEPENDENCE STRUGGLE truly then begin, and move forward to ultimate victory, yes!
